A drag queen on roof of Neighbours, a gay-friendly dance club in Seattle's capitol hill, leads the street party of Obama supporters in the National Anthem on election night after Obama declared president-elect of the United States of America.
My sister lives on Capitol Hill and got caught up in the festivities she was high-fiving <---germaphobe, and chanting <---doesn't chant, and jumping up and down <---doesn't jump up and down...she had a freaking out of body experience! She called and held out the phone so I (in my bed in the suburbs of Seattle with my cats, remote control, cough drops, nose spray, and cell phone...in more of less that order) could hear the crowd chanting "U.S.A." and "Yes, we can!" I was a wee bit overcome with emotion and cried like a baby. What a great night and I am still on my Obama high!

12:18 pm - OBAMA WINS!

This is a big street party that spontaneously developed in my city of Seattle on Capitol Hill after the news announced Obama won the presidency! WHOOT! I am still just so happy. The music is coming from one of the clubs that are piping from their roof. Every time I see this it makes me proud of Seattle and the country!

Is is just me or does Snape's wig* get ever more bouncy and adorable in each movie? (*See Half Blood Prince Trailer.)
By movie 7 I expect him to enter stage left with a very large lolli and start singing "On the Good Ship Lollipop" al la Shirley Temple.
